Food was terrible. Tasted if was thawed out. Service was consisently slow. I waiting over an hour for dinner. While the other patron (who were non indian were getting prompt and quick service)
I wouldn't go to any east indian place who gives that kind of service and poor quality food.
I have been there several times for lunch with different people. We all found something that we liked and the food was always fresh. We had buffet so it is self-serve but the staff were quick to seat-us, fill our galsses with water, get our drinks and take away your first plate when you went up for seconds! The only critique is their lunch hours are not long enough and they ahve a tendancy to rush you out when you are having your coffee and desert. On one occasion a staff member was literraly pushing us out the door! A suggestion would be to extend the lunch hours on busy days such as thursday and friday as to not rush the paying customer. Most of whom work in the vicinity and treat themselves on paydays and want to relax a little after the big meal before heading back to work.
Successful Indian adaptation of traditional dishes to local vegetables, creating unique, mouth-watering, exquisite flavour- eg butternut squash, mixed vegetable bhaji. Meat dishes (chicken naga, chicken jalfrezi)make culinary feast.
Very friendly staff and owner- Mr. Mohammed- a very affable man- often present to ensure customer satisfaction. Peaceful ambience, soothing music.Buffet varied and reasonably priced. Dining experience par excellence.
