Jean-Pascal Lion is crazy about cars and even more so about communications. He was behind the "The CHNAC is catching," ad campaign, which made the Renault 5 popular in the late '70s to early '80s, when Renault had an assembly plant in St-Bruno. Vidéotron, which was a burgeoning SME at the time, picked up on it and entrusted Jean-Pascal with the marketing of its services. Bell and the Yellow Pages Group soon followed suit. Still driven by the urge to outdo himself, Jean-Pascal threw himself into cycling and won several amateur championships in the master category.
When Jean-Pascal met Réjean Rochette, a high-level mountain bike rider, it turned out to be a pivotal moment; they decided to become business partners and obtained a PowerWatts license. "The best cycling training system was the best kept secret in town," says Jean-Pascal. They opened Studio PowerWatts Nord in Boisbriand.
