There's no need to be a vintage and thrift store and pro to find happiness at Fripe Fabrique. Launched in 2012 by Michelle Hutchinson, the charming little shop, which is located on Saint-Zotique Street at the corner of Saint-Denis, is a mine of treasures and discoveries.
The racks and different tables cleverly spread throughout the space are filled with clothing items and accessories. All are carefully chosen by the owner, who only works with local and international designers who share her values. "I love fashion, especially when it's fair. I'm not a fan of 'buying/throwing away,' " says Michelle.
Fripe Fabrique offers an original concept: every month, the store hosts a workshop to learn how to make a different garment. They also carry certain local brands such as Betina Lou and Amanda Moss, as well as vintage clothing that is carefully selected by the owner.
