I recall eating at a Montana’s Grill a few months ago and enjoying an Aunt Emma’s meatloaf. This past Saturday my wife and I had a yearning to try it again, so we went to a relatively new Montana’s in Hyde Park and discovered that it was now listed on the menu as a “Cookhouse Meatloaf” and promoted as being one of the restaurant’s “favourites”. I can see why. Quite frankly, this was by far the best meatloaf I have ever tasted in my life, and at 73 that’s saying quite a lot. Sure you can eat meatloaf at a number of places but I bet you can’t beat having a more delicious one at Montana’s in Hyde Park. Read more

I find myself at this place multiple times during the week. I go for breakfast one day, lunch the next, and then for dinner another day, and I'm usually there for the nights events. They have great concerts, great food, the staff, at least the bartenders and bouncers are all fantastic and some of my good friends, and the service is more often than not fast and helpful. Just the other day after going to this place for a year and a half, had my first bad experience with service, but after mentioning it to the manager, everything got sorted out and I still had an excellent meal even though it was a bit slower than usual. And their drinks are fantastic. I've only had one bad drink there and that was after they just started a new barrel so the beer was a bit watery - I just asked for a new one and they gave it to me no problem. I can't say enough good things about this place. I never turn down an invite to this place. Read more

We had the best dining experience at lunch today. We spent the last two days in the hospital so we were in need of a good lunch. Stacey was phenomenal!!! It was pretty busy but she looked after us like were only patrons. She was very efficient and friendly. You can tell she enjoys her job as I watched smiling and laughing with everyone she was waiting on. She suggested the new cauliflower wings and they were to die for.
